Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chance Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocket Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis scores with a jab to the body.
Kid is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lewis's half guard.
Kid not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Still in half guard, Kid seems content to control.
Kid wants to stand up but Lewis has a hold of him and won't allow it.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Rocket Kid wasn't active enough on the ground.
A nice combination there by Lewis.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kid goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Kid closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Lewis quickly recovers to half guard.
Kid is looking to advance position but Lewis won't allow it.

Kid pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Rocket Kid dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Some wild striking there from Lewis.
Lewis checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Lewis fails to land with a series of punches.
Lewis fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kid looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Chance Lewis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Kid gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Kid wants the takedown. Lewis is fighting it off but Kid persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Lewis's guard against the cage.
Lewis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kid is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Kid has control of an arm but Lewis manages to advance to Kid's back!

Lewis tries to keep control of the position but Kid is staying busy.
Lewis wants to control but Kid manages to buck him off and is now in Lewis's guard! Nice work there by Kid!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kid is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Lewis's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kid under the eye.

Lewis scores with a one two! Kid had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Lewis lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kid at a distance.
Lewis lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Kid misses the body punch
and Lewis makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Kid is breathing heavily.
Lewis lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Lewis.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lewis is looking to wear down Kid with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Lewis connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kid momentarily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lewis scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kid in his tracks.
Kid is rocked!
Lewis connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Kid tumbling to the canvas! Lewis pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Kid was done - good stoppage!
