Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Junber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marthin Puffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bob Junber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marthin Puffin!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Sergei Dronov and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junber throws a right and a left that Puffin avoids nicely.
Junber looks to land a combination but Puffin avoids it well.

Puffin has taken the fight to the clinch.

Junber pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Puffin pushes Junber up against the cage in a clinch.

Junber throws a sloppy head kick and Puffin moves out of range easily.

Puffin shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Junber manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Puffin wants to pass the guard but Junber is keeping the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bob Junber.

Puffin has taken the fight to the clinch.
Junber is trying to push Puffin away but Puffin has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Puffin is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Junber pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Puffin goes for a takedown attempt but Junber pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Junber leaves Puffin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Puffin takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Junber scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Puffin takes a kick to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Bob Junber will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


A left and a right from Junber both land. Nice combination.

Junber lands with a kick to the temple. Puffin shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Puffin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Junber moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Puffin keeps control of Junber as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Junber breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Puffin rushes Junber and presses him up against the cage.

Puffin wants to break free but Junber has control.
Puffin tries to pull guard but Junber holds him up against the cage and eventually Puffin drops back down to his feet.

Junber moves into range and clinches up with Puffin.

Junber pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Junber will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Puffin throws a head kick but Junber moves out of range.

Puffin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Junber, pushing him back against the cage.

Puffin gets control of Junber's arms and successfully pulls guard. Puffin will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Puffin is breathing heavily.
Junber tries to stand but Puffin is controlling from the bottom.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Marthin Puffin was stalling too much, according to the referee.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Puffin just misses with a elbow thrown towards Junber's brow.

Puffin goes for a takedown in the clinch but Junber prevents it.
Puffin is trying to break the clinch but Junber is controlling him.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bob Junber will probably get the nod.
That's time! Junber's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Puffin crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Junber - the referee stops the clock and Puffin gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Junber. Puffin manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Puffin shoots in looking for a takedown but Junber manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Puffin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Puffin has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Puffin there as he acknowledges the shot.

Junber lands with a kick to the temple. Puffin shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Puffin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Junber's waist but Junber gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Puffin off to one side.
Junber cracks a nice hook into Puffin's ribs.
Junber lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Puffin backs up against the cage.

Puffin takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Puffin dives in and grabs Junber's left leg, looking for a takedown. Junber pushes down on Puffin's head and hops out.
Junber lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Puffin shoots in and gets a takedown into Junber's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Puffin gets to his feet. Junber looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Junber, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
