The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roid tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bronson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Bronson has hold of Roid's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Roid manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Bronson has control of Roid's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Roid regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Bronson is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Roid is surviving well by controlling Bronson's body position as best he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bronson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Roid moves away.
Bronson shoots for a double leg takedown but Roid sprawls well. He's pushed Bronson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Roid looks to score with a jab to the body but Bronson is just out of range.
Bronson takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Roid fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Bronson is out of range.
Roid throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bronson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Roid was covering up waiting for the punch and Bronson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bronson wants to control from the top but Roid keeps moving.

Bronson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bronson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Roid really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bronson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Aster Roid showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
