Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Adam Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kamil Kotkiewicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kotkiewicz is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Onar-Sukces rodzi wrogów. Kamil Kotkiewicz will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adam Hopkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kamil Kotkiewicz!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopkins tries to close the distance and clinch but Kotkiewicz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hopkins lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kotkiewicz circles away quickly and effectively.
Kotkiewicz misses with a combination
and Hopkins counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kotkiewicz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hopkins tries to avoid it but Kotkiewicz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hopkins to the ground. Hopkins escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hopkins tries to clinch but Kotkiewicz moves out of range.
Kotkiewicz fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kotkiewicz shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Hopkins counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Adam Hopkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kamil Kotkiewicz.
Kotkiewicz looks winded!
Hopkins takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Kotkiewicz tries to keep at a distance but Hopkins has taken the fight into the clinch.
Hopkins jumps guard and drags Kotkiewicz to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Hopkins has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Kotkiewicz doesn't defend quickly enough and Hopkins has managed to lock this one up! Can Kotkiewicz escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Hopkins on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Adam Hopkins!
After the fight, Adam Hopkins was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
