Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lance Boyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lance Boyle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kevin Morgan! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Anthony Taglia and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Morgan misses. Boyle closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Boyle lands in his opponent's guard. Boyle trying to control but Morgan is working from the bottom. Boyle decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Morgan, up you get! Boyle darts in and clinches Morgan up against the cage. A hook to the body from Boyle.
Morgan has had enough of the clinch but Boyle keeps him there for the moment. Come on Boyle - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Morgan wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Knees in the clinch landing for Boyle.
Morgan wants to break free but Boyle has control.
Boyle breaks the clinch.
Morgan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Morgan looks gassed! Morgan throws a right and a left that both miss. Boyle fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Morgan sprawls well initially but Boyle persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Boyle stalling.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boyle seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Morgan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Boyle stands up out of the half guard. Boyle moves into range and clinches up with Morgan. Morgan is trying to break free. Boyle can't get the takedown.
Boyle manages to break the clinch.
Kevin Morgan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Morgan throws a right and a left that both miss. Kevin Morgan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A punch combination from Morgan misses. Boyle closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Morgan wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Check out the look on Boyle's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Morgan is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Morgan bucks up and tries to throw Boyle off but instead Boyle has got his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boyle lands a shot to the head. Boyle lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. Morgan manages to stand up with Boyle still on his back. Eventually Boyle drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position. Morgan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Danga de danga de dang - Boyle scores with a four punch combination! Morgan throws a combination that misses and Boyle counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Morgan! Boyle can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Morgan is looking to escape. Boyle throws a strike there. Morgan manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Morgan is trying to stand up here but Boyle is controlling him well. Boyle wants to pass the guard but Morgan is defending well. Boyle prevents Morgan from standing back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Boyle looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Morgan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Morgan throws a combination that misses and Boyle holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lance Boyle dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Morgan fails to land with a series of punches.
Morgan looks to land a combination but Boyle avoids it well. Morgan misses with a combination
and Boyle counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Boyle. Morgan is working an open guard so Boyle takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Morgan's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Morgan duly obliges. Morgan throws a combination that misses and Boyle holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Boyle changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Morgan fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Morgan throws a right and a left that both miss. Morgan throws a nice looking combination but Boyle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Morgan lands a jab-cross combination. Boyle pushes Morgan up against the cage in a clinch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Boyle tries to pull guard but Morgan won't allow it.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Boyle here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Boyle manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Boyle is on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boyle passes Morgan's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Morgan kicks Boyle off and gets back to his feet. Boyle has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lance Boyle. That's going to take a lot out of him. Morgan takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. A combination from Morgan does no damage. Boyle lands with a nice combination. Morgan backs away looking to recover.
Morgan is rocked! Crack! Boyle connects with the perfect overhand right and Morgan falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Boyle!
