Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Killam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hue Jazz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jesus Killam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hue Jazz! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Killam fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Jazz fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Killam sprawls well initially but Jazz persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Jazz is looking for a kimura here.
Jazz seems to be looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Killam is looking to improve his position.
Jazz blocks the strikes from Killam.
Killam won't allow Jazz to pass to mount. Killam trying to control here.
Jazz working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Killam's thigh. Killam counters though and makes it back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Killam misses with a takedown and Jazz decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Killam's guard. Jazz drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Killam manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jazz has Killam in his guard. Killam showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Killam trying to control the position from guard on top but Jazz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Killam stopping the sweep attempt from Jazz. Jazz has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Killam is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Jazz. Jazz looks gassed! Jazz is looking to reverse the position. Killam controls the position. Jazz is looking for a sweep. Jazz looking for a sweep but Killam has passed into full mount! Oh no! Jazz keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jazz is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Jazz regains half guard. Killam prevents Jazz from improving his position. Jazz gets full guard. Jazz had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Killam is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jazz Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Killam's back instead. Killam showing good submission defense here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Killam breaks Jazz's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Jazz keeping moving, preventing Killam from controlling successfully. Killam is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Jazz looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Killam slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hue Jazz dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Jazz drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Killam manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jazz has Killam in his guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jazz tries to get to full guard but Killam has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Killam postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Jazz to stand up. Killam throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Jazz counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Killam's guard now. Jazz prevents Killam from getting back to his feet. Jazz drops back looking for a leg! Killam is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Killam manages to kick Jazz off! Jazz jumps back into Killam's guard. Jazz is fighting to break Killam's control of his arms but Killam is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Jazz postures up.
Jazz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Killam swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jazz trying to control but Killam is working from the bottom. Jazz wants to pass the guard but Killam is keeping the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Killam shoots and misses and Jazz counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jesus Killam. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jazz passes easily into side control. Nice work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Killam manages to work his way to half guard, despite Jazz's best efforts. Jazz is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Killam reverses the position - he's now on top in Jazz's guard. Jazz doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jazz is looking for a sweep. Jazz regains half guard. Jazz tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Killam has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Killam controlling the position easily from mount. Killam manages to capitalize on a mistake by Jazz to take his back! Jazz is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Hue Jazz has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jazz is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Killam gets his way!

Jazz turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Jazz is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Killam is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Killam tries to improve position but can't. Jazz is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Killam knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Killam can't do much from the bottom here. Jazz looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Jazz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jazz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Jazz taking a break here but Killam is having none of it and regains half guard. Jazz seems to be working for a kimura but Killam defends the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Killam is trying is best to control the position here. Jazz prevents Killam from improving his position. Jazz is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Killam is controlling Jazz's position as best he can from this difficult position. Jazz looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Killam is pressing down on Jazz's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Jazz postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Killam is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jazz, into his guard. Killam controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Jazz not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Jazz Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Killam's back instead. Jesus Killam has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jazz is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Killam taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Jazz.
