Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Parts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parts comes to the cage accompanied by call to prayer. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Peter Parts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Martin! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Martin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Parts moves away. Frank Martin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Parts shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Martin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Parts is trying to defend but Martin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Martin prevents Parts from standing back up.
Parts avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Martin. Martin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Martin is working for a submission of some sort.
That's one minute gone in the round. Martin is looking for a kimura but Parts is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Martin to get the leverage. Martin throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Parts won't allow Martin to pass to mount. Parts is defending against the submission attempts here by Martin.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Martin lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Martin throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Martin is stalling here. Parts is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Martin seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Parts has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Martin is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Parts wants to lay and pray for a moment but Martin keeps working. A control attempt from Martin but he's now mounted! Martin looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Martin trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. I really don't envy Martin right now.
Martin trying to control the action but Parts just sinks the hooks in. Martin is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Parts is staying active. Martin might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Parts kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Martin swings and misses with a shot to the body and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Parts throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Martin throws an overhand right that lands on Parts's shoulder, as Parts tries to avoid the shot. Martin shoots in for a double leg but Parts sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Martin swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Parts scores with a sloppy right hand. Martin should have avoided that one. Martin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Parts. Parts throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Martin. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. and Parts counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Martin is lucky that one didn't land flush. Martin throws a right and a left that both miss. Martin throws out a loose jab but Parts uses good head movement to avoid it. Martin rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

That's four minutes gone in the round. A slow jab from Martin misses its intended target. Martin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Parts manages to avoid it. Peter Parts is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Parts scores with a leg kick.
Martin misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Peter Parts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Martin. Martin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Parts ducks under a wild hook from Martin. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Martin swings and misses with a shot to the body and Parts counters with a nice uppercut. Martin misses with a wild body shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Peter Parts will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Martin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Martin misses with an uppercut. Parts saw that one coming. Parts scores with a nice strike. Martin moves forwards but Parts connects with a nice, crisp jab. Martin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Parts sees it coming and avoids it easily. No joy there for Parts, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Parts takes a shot right to the bread basket. Martin takes a kick to the side of the head. Parts slips a straight right by Martin.
That's one minute gone in the round. Martin shoots in and drives through. Parts sprawls well. Martin's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Martin duly obliges. Martin lands a jab to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Left hook, right uppercut from Martin. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Martin misses with a lunging right hand
and Parts counters with a slapping leg kick. A head kick misses from Parts. Parts slips a jab and a cross from Martin.
Parts defending well as Martin loads up on a big left hand. Parts dips to his left and cracks Martin with an uppercut! Martin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Parts moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Frank Martin seems to be getting the better of the standup. Parts fails to land with a series of punches.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Parts avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Parts moves away from the strike by Martin. Martin jabs Parts right on the nose. Parts blinks but takes it well. Martin misses with a jab, cross combination.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Parts throws a half hearted mid kick. Parts misses with a low kick. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Martin misses with a looping right. Martin misses with a hook
and Parts counters with an outside leg kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Frank Martin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Martin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
