Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Corbett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenshiro Kasumi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corbett comes to the cage accompanied by Men at Work - Down Under. Kasumi has chosen Ai Wo Torimodose aka Song of Manliness as his entrance music. Nathan Corbett could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kenshiro Kasumi's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nathan Corbett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenshiro Kasumi!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corbett throws a low kick, looking for Kasumi's leg but Kasumi calmly moves out of range.
Kasumi throws out a loose jab but Corbett uses good head movement to avoid it.
Corbett tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kasumi throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Corbett on the side of the head.
Kasumi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Corbett.
Kasumi moves out of range of the strikes.
Sloppy strikes from Corbett. Those never looked like landing.
A cross from Corbett lands.
Kasumi takes a swing at Corbett's ribcage but misses.
A chopping leg kick lands by Kasumi.
Kasumi throws a predictable looking body shot
and Corbett counters with a series of strikes. Kasumi will be more careful next time no doubt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The fighters circling - Kasumi throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Corbett uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kasumi.
Corbett lands a jab to the head.

Corbett avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Corbett checks a leg kick nicely.
Kasumi misses with a body shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Corbett, as that shot connected.
Kasumi will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Corbett rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kasumi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Corbett lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Kasumi takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Kasumi on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Corbett. Corbett obviously looking to wear him down.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Corbett moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Kasumi looks winded!
Corbett misses with an attempted mid kick.

Corbett connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Corbett misses with a body shot.
Corbett displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kasumi throws out the jab.
Corbett swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Kasumi to counter with a crisp jab.
Corbett tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kasumi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Corbett drives through and clinches with Kasumi against the cage.
Corbett keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kasumi's efforts to push away.
Kasumi is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Corbett pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Corbett fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Kasumi has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Corbett prevents Kasumi from breaking the clinch.
Corbett jumps guard and drags Kasumi to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Corbett looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Corbett tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kasumi has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Corbett is proving hard to escape from.
Corbett had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kasumi defends it easily.
Corbett has his foot on Kasumi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kasumi works his way back into a safe position though.

Kasumi wants to get up but he can't break Corbett's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Corbett working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Kasumi has passed into half guard!
Corbett tries to roll over but Kasumi keeps him under control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kasumi tries to pass to full mount but Corbett defends it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nathan Corbett dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Corbett gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kasumi.
Kasumi tries to work over Corbett's front leg with a kick but Corbett checks it.
Corbett drives through and clinches with Kasumi against the cage.
Corbett scores with a shot to the side of Kasumi's head.
Kasumi has a couple of punches blocked by Corbett.
Kasumi can't find room to land a body shot as Corbett controls the action.
Corbett lands a nice uppercut.
Kasumi is looking to break free of the clinch but Corbett has double underhooks.
A right hook to the body lands for Kasumi.
Kasumi throws a head punch that misses.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Kasumi.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Corbett is looking to control Kasumi's arms but Kasumi gets an underhook and turns him. Now Corbett has his back to the cage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Corbett tries to pull guard but Kasumi holds him up against the cage and eventually Corbett drops back down to his feet.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Kasumi misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Corbett pushes Kasumi back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Corbett throws a head punch that misses.
Kasumi manages to break the clinch.
Corbett connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Kasumi is rocked!
Kasumi wants to stay close but Corbett steps back to make room for something. Kasumi seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Corbett and Kasumi drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Nathan Corbett!
In his post fight interview, Nathan Corbett gave a big smile as he said 'I'm back!!!'.
