Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sir Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henri Saari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sir Tyson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Henri Saari!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson throws a low kick but Saari moves out of range easily.
Tyson throws a leg kick that misses.

Tyson moves into range and clinches up with Saari.

Tyson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Tyson takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Tyson tries to clinch up.
Sir Tyson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Saari keeps the fight on the outside.
Tyson tries to clinch but Saari is having none of it.

Tyson lands a big head kick that sends Saari tumbling to the mat! Tyson takes a step backwards and waves Saari back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Saari is rocked!


It looks like Henri Saari has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Saari lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Tyson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Saari takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Tyson throws a head kick that misses.

Saari is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Tyson's half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Saari content to control rather than advance.

Let's hope that Saari has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Henri Saari.
Tyson cracks the inside of Saari's front leg.
Tyson is looking to clinch.
Tyson looks to land a body kick but Saari moved away.
Some bone on bone action there as Saari checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Jab, jab by Saari - just one landing.

Tyson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Saari connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tyson scrambles back to his feet.
Saari paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Tyson walks into a jab.
Tyson looks to land a body kick but Saari moved away.
Tyson throws a head kick that misses.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tyson lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Saari connects with a crisp jab.

Saari manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Tyson on his heels. He'll look to pass Tyson's guard now, I'm sure.
Saari looks winded!
Saari is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Saari decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Tyson, up you get!
Saari is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tyson.
Saari cracks Tyson with a good jab.
Tyson tries a head kick but it misses.

Tyson rushes Saari and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Tyson manages to break the clinch.
Tyson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Tyson throws a nice inside leg kick.
Tyson throws a head kick but Saari moves out of range.

Saari scores with a takedown into Tyson's guard.
Tyson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Saari is looking to work some ground and pound but Tyson has wrist control.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Saari prevents Tyson from getting back to his feet.

Tyson is working an open guard so Saari takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Saari waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Tyson.
Saari blocks a head kick by Tyson.
Saari moves out of range of the body kick from Tyson.
Tyson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Saari.
Saari has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Saari there as he acknowledges the shot.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A nice leg kick lands there from Tyson.
Tyson throws the kick towards the body but Saari avoids it.

Saari closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Tyson quickly recovers to half guard.

Saari is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Sir Tyson will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Henri Saari's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Tyson throws a head kick that misses.
Tyson explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Tyson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Saari postures up in Tyson's guard and throws a big left but Tyson blocks it.
Saari pushes down on Tyson's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Saari throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Saari is controlling the pace.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Saari throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Tyson wants to get back to his feet.
Saari is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Saari slows the pace down in half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Saari passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Tyson!
Saari postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Tyson looks a forlorn figure.
Saari tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tyson squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Henri Saari has got the better of the ground game so far.
Saari looking to control and managing it successfully.
BOOM! Saari connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Saari cracks Tyson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Tyson is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Saari takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Henri Saari showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


A slow jab from Saari misses its intended target.
Sir Tyson is winning the standup battle so far.
Tyson connects with a leg kick. Saari looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Saari darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Saari wants to pass to mount but Tyson is defending the position.
Tyson is trying to stand.
Saari is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Tyson!

Saari connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Saari lands a big elbow.

Saari with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Tyson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tyson tries to get out of the position.

Saari wants to finish this one by submission but Tyson is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Saari.

Saari lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Tyson tries to buck Saari off but he can't manage it.
Saari lands with some strikes.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Saari lands a heavy elbow.
Saari scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Tyson?

And that's the end of the fight!
Henri Saari comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Saari has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
