Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Colton De Costa !
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Alyssa Summers and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Costa jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

De Costa has managed to clinch.
De Costa is pressed up against the cage. Trap has hold of a leg and is looking to drag De Costa down to the mat. De Costa avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Trap circles away from the clinch attempt.
Trap dives in and grabs De Costa 's left leg, looking for a takedown. De Costa pushes down on Trap's head and hops out.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Trap enables De Costa to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Trap manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

De Costa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Trap. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
