The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Borgne shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with NZonzi but NZonzi pushes him off and we're back to square one.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
NZonzi paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

NZonzi lands a big uppercut and Borgne crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Borgne looks OK. NZonzi waves Borgne back to his feet!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
NZonzi lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Borgne is still on wobbly legs! Can NZonzi finish him?

NZonzi moves into the clinch.
NZonzi lands a nice knee to the body.
NZonzi is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

NZonzi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Borgne seems to have recovered his senses.
NZonzi tests Borgne's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Borgne's hands are dropping dangerously low here and NZonzi connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Borgne scrambles back to his feet.
NZonzi closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Borgne! NZonzi dives in looking to finish! Borgne is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
