The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice straight punches there by Vogelpohl. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Vogelpohl.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

That was a close round but I would say that Ollilan Jorma will probably get the nod.

Jorma has Vogelpohl pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Vogelpohl is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Jorma - that's hurt Vogelpohl badly! Oh, another knee lands and Vogelpohl is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Vogelpohl doesn't seem to be complaining.
