The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Haze has managed to clinch.

Gotfedson trying to control the position from guard on top but Haze is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Haze is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Haze is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Gotfedson wants to control but Haze is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Haze is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gotfedson is just riding it out for now. Haze eventually gives up the hold.

Haze closes the distance and clinches up with Gotfedson, looking for a takedown. Haze pushes Gotfedson against the cage but Gotfedson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Haze tries to score with some ground and pound. Gotfedson controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Gotfedson's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Haze is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Gotfedson is forced to tap! Great finish!
