Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ilham Aliyev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pekka Lipponen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aliyev comes to the cage accompanied by Hollywood Undead - We Are. Lipponen has chosen Rainbow - Man on the Silver Mountain as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aliyev throws a body punch but Lipponen moves out of range.
Aliyev shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lipponen napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The strikes coming from Aliyev are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lipponen tries to improve position but can't.
Lipponen manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Aliyev is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lipponen sees it coming and defends easily.
Lipponen is staying active underneath Aliyev, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Lipponen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Aliyev content to control rather than advance.
Aliyev is working for a submission of some sort.
Aliyev prevents Lipponen from improving his position.

Aliyev is looking to take a break and control but Lipponen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Aliyev is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Lipponen to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.
Lipponen is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Aliyev defends well.
Lipponen looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Aliyev drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lipponen dives on top into guard.

Lipponen postures up and lands a big shot to Aliyev's brow.
Aliyev had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lipponen defends it easily.
Aliyev looking for a guillotine here but Lipponen defends easily.
Lipponen slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lipponen looks up at the clock and then as Aliyev takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Lipponen smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Aliyev tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Aliyev throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
Lipponen working away.
Lipponen is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Aliyev is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Aliyev manages to get back to half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Aliyev tries to get to full guard but Lipponen has control of the leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Aliyev won't allow Lipponen to pass to mount.
Aliyev is not content to let Lipponen control the position.
Lipponen lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Aliyev gets back to full guard.
Lipponen trying to control but Aliyev is working from the bottom.
Lipponen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aliyev swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lipponen wants to control from the top but Aliyev keeps moving.

Aliyev looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Lipponen passes into half guard.
Lipponen prevents Aliyev from improving his position.
Lipponen is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Lipponen takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Aliyev is trying to maintain the position but Lipponen is very close to passing his half guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Aliyev is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lipponen's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lipponen's back!
Aliyev is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Lipponen is defending well though. Aliyev let's go of the attempt for now.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Pekka Lipponen will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Lipponen throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Lipponen lands a nice shot that snaps Aliyev's head back.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Lipponen knocks Aliyev out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Pekka Lipponen!
Pekka Lipponen really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Perkele! logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
