The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Svensson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Buford crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Svensson - the referee stops the clock and Buford gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Svensson. Buford manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Buford had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Svensson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Buford Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Svensson's back instead.
