The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonapart keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Bonapart will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nice takedown defense from Bonapart. No joy for Pavle on that attempt.
Bonapart misses with a series of wild punches.
Bonapart shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pavle but Pavle pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Bonapart changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pavle looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Pavle is letting Bonapart control him for a moment.
Pavle is trying to control Bonapart's posture but Bonapart avoids it.
A lull in the action here as Bonapart stalls from top position.

Pavle tries to improve position but can't.
Pavle defending against the ground and pound.
Bonapart has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Bonapart has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Bonapart with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Bonapart tries to control but Pavle wriggling away.

Bonapart unloads with some shots from mount but Pavle bucks and avoids them well.
Pavle is squirming around, avoiding Bonapart's attempts to control the action.
Bonapart punching from mount but Pavle doing a good job of avoiding damage.

Bonapart swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Pavle is now in Bonapart's guard. A big mistake from Bonapart there, giving up the dominant position!
Pavle won't allow Bonapart to get back to his feet.

Bonapart is pulling down on Pavle's head. It's preventing any offense from Pavle, at least for the moment.

Pavle is sitting in close to Bonapart's body. Bonapart has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Pavle is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Pavle is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Bonapart.
