Ruotolo comes to the ring accompanied by I Ratti Della Sabina - Lo Scemo Del Villaggio. Giacobbe Ruotolo had a look across the ring there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruotolo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ruotolo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ruotolo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ruotolo misses with a low kick as Takedown jumps back.
Takedown throws a right hand that Ruotolo ducks under and follows up with a left that Ruotolo also avoids with ease.

Ruotolo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Takedown has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ruotolo has managed to get both his arms back between Takedown's legs - danger averted.

Takedown drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Takedown jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
