Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fred Flapjacks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Renald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fred Flapjacks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joe Renald! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flapjacks with a nice cross. Renald throws a poor cross that misses
and Flapjacks counters with a good low kick that Renald was not able to check. Renald has taken the fight to the clinch.
Renald is working for takedown but Flapjacks is calmly controlling the position for now. Renald looking to throw knees to the head but Flapjacks is blocking nicely.
A short left from Flapjacks. Renald tries to land a knee to the head but Flapjacks blocks with his arms.
Flapjacks breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Flapjacks forces Renald back against the ropes and clinches. Renald taking a breather. Renald tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Flapjacks wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Renald has him pressed against the ropes. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Renald tries a knee to the head but Flapjacks blocks it.
A frustrated look appears on Flapjacks's face as he tries to break the clinch. Flapjacks escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Renald misses with a takedown attempt - Flapjacks sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Renald tries to close the distance and clinch but Flapjacks swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Renald shoots in and drives through. Flapjacks sprawls well. Fred Flapjacks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Renald. Renald throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Flapjacks's waist but Flapjacks gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Renald off to one side. Renald looks winded! Renald fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Flapjacks sprawls well initially but Renald persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Flapjacks gets full guard. Renald working some strikes from top position. Flapjacks looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Flapjacks knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Renald on the ground. Renald is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Renald postures up in Flapjacks's guard and throws a big left but Flapjacks blocks it. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Renald accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Flapjacks tries to land a sweep but no joy. Renald has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Renald wants to control from the top but Flapjacks keeps moving. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Renald wants to pass the guard but Flapjacks is keeping the position. Flapjacks preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Renald working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Renald throws a strike but Flapjacks rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Renald is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Flapjacks is controlling him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Renald is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Renald is trying to control the position from the bottom.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Joe Renald hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Flapjacks turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Renald shoots in looking for a takedown. Flapjacks tries to sprawl out of it but Renald keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Flapjacks manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Joe Renald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Renald throws a jab but it's blocked by Flapjacks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Flapjacks looks to land a combination. Renald sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Renald throws an overhand right that lands on Flapjacks's shoulder, as Flapjacks tries to avoid the shot. Renald swings widly with a right hand
and Flapjacks counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Renald misses with a wild body shot. Flapjacks lands a nice shot to the body.

Flapjacks slaps away a takedown attempt from Renald, before circling back to the center of the mat. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Renald looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Flapjacks is fending him off so far but Renald persists. Nope, Flapjacks circles away and we're back to standing. Flapjacks takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Renald dominated that round. That's time! Flapjacks's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Nice sprawl there from Flapjacks as Renald shoots in. Renald has a takedown stuffed. Horrible takedown by Renald or perhaps it was just good defense by Flapjacks which made him look bad. Fred Flapjacks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Renald. Flapjacks misses with a wild combination.
Flapjacks wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. A thudding body kick lands there by Flapjacks!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Flapjacks with a body punch. A glancing blow. Renald dives in and grabs Flapjacks's left leg, looking for a takedown. Flapjacks pushes down on Renald's head and hops out. Renald is breathing heavily. That kick from Flapjacks tenderised Renald's leg. Renald is trying to keep his angry face on. Flapjacks ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. A kick lands to the mid section there for Flapjacks. Flapjacks shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Renald eats them both and turns towards Flapjacks to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Renald fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Flapjacks connects with a high kick. Flapjacks scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Flapjacks lands a body shot.
Flapjacks lands a jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Flapjacks catches Renald with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Flapjacks connects with a right hand. Renald shakes it off. Flapjacks keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Renald.

and Flapjacks counters with a solid body kick. Renald has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Flapjacks. Renald misses the body punch and Flapjacks counters with a two punch combo. Flapjacks delivers a nice body kick. Flapjacks lands a jab to Renald's midsection. Flapjacks thuds a left hand into Renald's body. Renald misses with an uppercut
and Flapjacks counters with a lovely shot to the body. Some wild striking there from Flapjacks.
Flapjacks is looking to wear down Renald with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Nice body punch from Flapjacks. Renald closes this distance looking for a takedown but Flapjacks circles away. Renald looks to throw the jab but Flapjacks is out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Flapjacks ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Flapjacks lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Flapjacks delivers a nice body kick. Renald takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Flapjacks lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Renald doesn't succeed with the takedown and Flapjacks counters with a left to the body. Nice straight punches there by Flapjacks. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Flapjacks. Flapjacks throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Renald stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Renald shoots in looking for a takedown but Flapjacks manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Renald's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Flapjacks throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Renald stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Flapjacks moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Renald takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Renald takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Renald shoots for a takedown but Flapjacks saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Renald has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Flapjacks. Flapjacks connects with a body shot. Nice shot lands for Flapjacks. Flapjacks closes the distance and clinches. Renald keeps control of Flapjacks as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Flapjacks is trying to break the clinch but Renald has him pressed against the ropes. Renald throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Flapjacks blocks it with crossed arms. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Flapjacks breaks from the clinch.
Nice cross by Flapjacks. Renald gets a double leg takedown into Flapjacks's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fred Flapjacks dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Renald takes a shot right to the bread basket. No joy there for Renald, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Flapjacks gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Flapjacks looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Flapjacks blocking the ground and pound attempt from Renald. Renald is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Flapjacks tries to get to full guard but Renald has control of the leg. Renald throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Flapjacks here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Renald slows the pace down in half guard. Flapjacks has hold of Renald's hands but Renald slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Renald thows a huge punch but Flapjacks dodges it nicely.
Renald takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Renald landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Renald looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Flapjacks with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Renald connects with a nice short shot to Flapjacks's temple. Renald throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Renald works his foot free and advances to mount. Renald cracks Flapjacks with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Renald lands a big shot there that rocks Flapjacks but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
