Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tim Justice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Debtman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jake Debtman struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tim Justice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jake Debtman!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Debtman scores with a takedown into Justice's guard.
Debtman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Debtman scoring with some ground and pound.
Debtman throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Justice works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Debtman has gone for a leg lock! Justice slips out almost immediately though and dives into Debtman's guard.
Justice loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Justice tries to free his leg and advance position but Debtman is retaining full guard.
Justice throws a strike but Debtman rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Debtman wants to control from the top but Justice keeps moving.
Justice knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Debtman on the ground.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Debtman postures up and lands a big shot to Justice's brow.
Debtman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Justice is keeping the position for now.
Debtman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Debtman is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Justice is breathing heavily.

Debtman has gone for a leg lock! Justice slips out almost immediately though and dives into Debtman's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Justice accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Debtman looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Justice is defending well. Debtman quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Justice has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Debtman celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jake Debtman!
Jake Debtman seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
