The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blaze scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Li to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Blaze away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Li got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!
It looks like Ken Li has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Blaze moves out of range as Li throws a body kick.
A head kick from Li lands but Blaze takes it in his stride. Li explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Blaze connects with a quick right hand that sends Li tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Phil Blaze!
