Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rampage Jockson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Kukushkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jockson comes to the cage accompanied by Can't Be Touched. Kukushkin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Shufutinsky - White roses kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rampage Jockson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alex Kukushkin! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kukushkin just misses with a punch to the body.
Kukushkin scores with a jab. Jockson acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Kukushkin lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Kukushkin swings for the body but Jockson moves out of range.

and Jockson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kukushkin won't be happy with that. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jockson wants to control but Kukushkin is keeping him busy. Jockson is really struggling to control Kukushkin but he's trying to hold on to the position. Jockson creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kukushkin sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Kukushkin wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Jockson moves into full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Kukushkin wants to get back to his feet.
Kukushkin is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Kukushkin in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. BOOM! Jockson connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Jockson looking to control but Kukushkin is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Kukushkin avoids a series of strikes thrown by Jockson.
Jockson throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jockson tries to control but Kukushkin wriggling away. Jockson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. You get the feeling that Kukushkin really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Kukushkin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jockson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jockson thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
