The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mason tries to close the distance and clinch but Tricky swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tricky fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mason tries to clinch up but Tricky circles away and keeps his distance.
Mason wants to clinch.
Mason keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Tricky circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mason clinches.
Mason misses with a knee to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mason breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tricky looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Tricky is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Mason is looking to improve his position.

Tricky wants to free his trapped foot but Mason is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Mason is pressing down on Tricky's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Mason wants to get back to his feet but Tricky is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Mason really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tricky. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tricky pushes down on Mason's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Tricky seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Mason is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
