Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franklin Diggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diggins has chosen Bonfire as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brandon Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Franklin Diggins!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, David Schapiro and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diggins throws a sloppy head kick and Walker moves out of range easily.
Walker tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Diggins was well out of range. Poor timing from Walker.
Walker connects with a crisp jab.


It looks like Franklin Diggins has been cut.

Walker darts in and clinches Diggins up against the cage.

Walker gets control of Diggins's arms and successfully pulls guard. Walker will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Diggins trying to control the position from guard on top but Walker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Diggins seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Franklin Diggins was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Diggins drives through and clinches with Walker against the cage.

Diggins is trying to break the clinch but Walker is controlling him.

Diggins pulls Walker into guard.
Diggins lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Walker!

Diggins looking to control but Walker is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Walker tries to lock up and control but Diggins gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Diggins is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Diggins controlling the pace for now.
Walker on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Walker tries to get out of the position.
Walker is looking to get to half guard.
Walker tries to buck Diggins off but he can't manage it.
A nice elbow there by Diggins.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Walker is squirming around, avoiding Diggins's attempts to control the action.
Poor strikes thrown by Diggins there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Diggins controlling the position easily from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Walker is trying desperately to improve position.
Diggins lands a big shot there that rocks Walker but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Diggins looking to control but Walker is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Diggins content just to control the position here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Diggins can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Walker is looking to escape.
Walker is trying to escape the mount.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Diggins tries to push Walker's head away but Walker is holding on tight.
Diggins controlling from the full mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Diggins tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Walker blocks a head kick by Diggins.
Walker throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Diggins stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Walker misses the shot to the body.
Diggins circles away from the clinch attempt.
Diggins scores with a head kick.

Walker tries to keep at a distance but Diggins has taken the fight into the clinch.
Diggins slowing the pace effectively.
Diggins fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Diggins has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Walker after a bit of a struggle.
Walker is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Diggins gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Diggins tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Walker avoids it.
Walker prevents the takedown attempt.
Brandon Walker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Franklin Diggins.

Diggins with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Diggins manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Diggins seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Walker is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Diggins looking to control.
Walker throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Diggins works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Walker slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Brandon Walker.
Diggins blocks the body kick.
No joy there for Diggins, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Brandon Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Diggins pushes Walker up against the cage in a clinch.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Walker obliges.
Diggins is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Walker breaks from the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Walker cracks a nice hook into Diggins's ribs.
Walker connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Walker sends Diggins crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Walker is motioning to the referee to let Diggins up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!


Diggins is rocked!
Diggins gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Walker points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Diggins wakes up just in time to hear Walker thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Brandon Walker!
During a confident post fight interview, Brandon Walker thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
