Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Morris Maddison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Stickem Kickem!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maddison throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kickem was covering up waiting for the punch and Maddison finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Kickem avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Kickem really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Maddison. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Maddison is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Maddison has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Morris Maddison wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Kickem throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Maddison fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kickem sprawls well initially but Maddison persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Well, if Maddison is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Maddison uses his free foot to push down on Kickem's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kickem.
Kickem wants to hold on but Maddison pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
BOOM! Maddison connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
