Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pixar Bonan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cletus Kasady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bonan comes to the cage accompanied by Morbid Angel - Immortal Rites. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Cletus Kasady!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kasady fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kasady shoots for a double leg takedown but Bonan sprawls well. He's pushed Kasady's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kasady cracks Bonan with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
A head kick misses from Kasady.
Kasady misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bonan tries to bum rush Kasady with a series of wild strikes but Kasady uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kasady swings for the body but Bonan moves out of range.
Kasady scores with a head kick. Bonan tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

It looks like Pixar Bonan has been cut.
Kasady slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Kasady looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kasady tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Bonan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kasady is trying to defend but Bonan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bonan wants to stand but Kasady has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Bonan stands up over Kasady, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Kasady had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bonan defends it easily.
Bonan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kasady swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bonan avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bonan slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Bonan working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Kasady tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bonan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Bonan creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Kasady manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Kasady is pressing down on Bonan's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bonan wants to control from the top but Kasady keeps moving.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bonan tries to free his leg and advance position but Kasady is retaining full guard.
Bonan prevents Kasady from getting back to his feet.
Kasady looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Kasady controls Bonan momentarily but Bonan frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kasady escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bonan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kasady has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bonan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Kasady is not content to let Bonan control the position.

Kasady has his foot on Bonan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bonan works his way back into a safe position though.

Kasady has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Bonan should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kasady has tightened it up now! Bonan should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Cletus Kasady thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
