Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Lowley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fallon Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

and Lowley counters with a single leg into guard. Fox didn't expect that. Lowley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Fox is looking to stand up but Lowley isn't so interested in that idea.
Lowley thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Fox really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lowley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fox wants to stand but Lowley is controlling the position.
Lowley got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fox has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lowley has managed to get both his arms back between Fox's legs - danger averted.

Fox defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lowley throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Fox has his hands clasped together but Lowley breaks the hold and Fox is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Lowley!
