Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jeff Bridges! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Drew Schilling! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Joseph Jones and Lou da Vinci.

and Schilling counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Schilling breaks the clinch.
Schilling connects with a crisp jab. Bridges shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Schilling counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Schilling.

Bridges on the wrong end of a nice jab. Bridges shoots and misses and Schilling connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeff Bridges. That's going to take a lot out of him. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Schilling moves into the clinch. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Schilling creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Bridges tries for a takedown. No joy.

Bridges takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Schilling pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Schilling closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Bridges drops down looking for an ankle pick but Schilling pulls his leg out and moves away.
Nice body punch from Schilling. Jeff Bridges seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bridges is breathing heavily. Schilling connects with a crisp jab.

Schilling closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Schilling breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bridges moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Oh Bridges is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Schilling connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Bridges! He's out on his feet! Schilling rushes in and drops Bridges with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Drew Schilling!
