Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Jass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lester Only (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Only has chosen Third World as his entrance music. Lester Only acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hugh Jass! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lester Only! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Russell Pearce and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Only tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jass swivels and escapes. Hugh Jass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jass moves in looking to clinch but Only pushes him off. Only throws a jab but it's blocked by Jass. Jass pushes Only up against the cage in a clinch. Jass gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Only tries to roll over but Jass keeps him under control. Jass landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Jass not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Jass working the head and body with strikes. Only looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Jass lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Jass working the head and body with strikes. Jass looks to score some points with some ground and pound. This has been an exciting period of action! Jass wants to free his trapped foot but Only is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jass passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Only! Only is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Only looks gassed! Only takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Only is in all sorts of trouble here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jass is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Only can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Jass has control of Only's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Only regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jass is landing with some decent strikes but Only is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Only is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Only takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Only is in a horrible position here. Jass smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Jass fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Jass is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Only is surviving well by controlling Jass's body position as best he can. Jass lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Only is trying desperately to improve position. Jass is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Only has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Only! There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jass is on top in guard.
Only is looking for a triangle but Jass pushes his legs off easily.
Jass with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Only throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Only controls Jass momentarily but Jass frees himself. Jass has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Jass stands and throws Only's legs to the side, diving into side control. Only is looking for a sweep. Jass could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jass scores with a couple of short elbows. Jass thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Jass landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Jass tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Only manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jass looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Only is trying to work for a kimura but Jass is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jass takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Jass doesn't succeed with the takedown and Only counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Jass takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Jass shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jass was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Jass connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Only is working to get back to half guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jass postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Only looks a forlorn figure.

Only is looking to improve his position but Jass isn't that keen on the idea. Jass cracks Only with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Jass is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Only can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jass pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Hugh Jass overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jass goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Only is on top in guard.
Jass is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Only sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jass's guard. Only wants to work for an arm triangle but Jass is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Only thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jass's head. Only thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Only wants to pass the guard but Jass is defending well. Jass slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Jass might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jass manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Only is trying desperately to improve position. Only tries to improve his position but instead Jass has taken his back! Only is taking damage to the body and head. Only is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Only is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Jass lands a shot to the body. Jass looking for the choke from the back. Jass looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Only wants to control his opponent's hands but Jass gets his hands free. Jass working for the choke. Jass is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Only is defending well though. Jass let's go of the attempt for now. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Only trying to control the action but Jass just sinks the hooks in. Can Only hold on?! Jass is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jass is trying to stick to Only's back but Only is turning into Jass. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Jass's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Only. Only wants to control from the top but Jass keeps moving. Jass is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hugh Jass dominated that second round. That's time! Jass's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Jass is looking to clinch. Jass gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Only counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jass won't be happy with that. Only wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jass keeps working. Jass gets back to half guard. Jass slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Jass striking off his back but it's not causing Only any problems. Jass will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Only won't allow Jass to sweep him here. Only slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Jass looking for submissions off his back. Only is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Jass! Only blocks Jass's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Only moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Jass has worked his arm free - good work by Jass!

Jass is pushing down on Only's leg trying to pass to half guard. Only is fighting to maintain full guard but Jass has managed to sneak the leg through. Only looking for submissions off his back. Lester Only has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Jass is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Only is just riding it out for now. Jass eventually gives up the hold. Jass is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Only moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Only is looking for a triangle but Jass pushes his legs off easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Lester Only comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Jass has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
