Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Claudio Cregg!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cregg shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silvinho as he avoids it easily.
Cregg defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Silvinho.
Silvinho throws a sloppy head kick and Cregg moves out of range easily.
Cregg shoots in for a takedown but Silvinho shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Cregg fails to land the takedown.
Erick Silvinho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Claudio Cregg.

Cregg is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Silvinho throws an elbow but Cregg slips to the side and avoids it well.
Silvinho wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cregg keeps working.

Cregg really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silvinho. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cregg looks frustrated here - throwing a couple of shots from the bottom though.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Silvinho throws some wild stikes that Cregg manages to avoid easily.

Cregg keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Silvinho swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
