Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Abe Eaton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Schilling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Abe Eaton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pat Schilling! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Bruno Hogan and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Schilling. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Eaton manages to work his way to half guard, despite Schilling's best efforts. Schilling is thwarting Eaton's attempts to control the position. Eaton is not content to let Schilling control the position. Schilling really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Eaton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Schilling controlling the action here. Eaton is trying to maintain the position but Schilling is very close to passing his half guard. Eaton tries to kick Schilling off but Schilling keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schilling prevents Eaton from improving his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Eaton has closed the distance and engaged Schilling in a clinch.
Schilling gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Schilling must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Schilling wants to control from the top but Eaton keeps moving. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Eaton looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Pat Schilling wasn't active enough on the ground. Eaton looks for a takedown but Schilling sprawls well. Schilling misses with a combination
and Eaton counters by moving into the clinch. Eaton has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Schilling after a bit of a struggle. Schilling wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Schilling prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Abe Eaton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Schilling pulls Eaton into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Eaton throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Schilling is looking for a triangle here but Eaton uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Schilling tries to bench press Eaton off him but Eaton keeps the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eaton looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Schilling is avoiding damage well.
Schilling sneaks out the side door and pushes Eaton away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Eaton misses with a double jab
and Schilling counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Schilling. Eaton is fighting off a takedown attempt but Schilling is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Eaton to the mat. Eaton regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Eaton looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Schilling is defending well. Eaton quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Schilling has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Eaton celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
