Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hamis Ahmed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chester McConey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McConey looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ahmed is fending him off so far but McConey persists. Nope, Ahmed circles away and we're back to standing.
McConey throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ahmed.
McConey fails with an attempt to clinch.
McConey doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Ahmed moves into the clinch.
McConey trying to control the position but instead, Ahmed has worked for underhooks and has pushed McConey into the cage.

Hamis Ahmed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chester McConey.
McConey tries to circle away but Ahmed has him pinned against the cage.
McConey jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ahmed walks away with a smile on his face. McConey gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Ahmed counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Ahmed is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. McConey doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ahmed.

Ahmed seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Ahmed fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McConey manages to avoid it.

Ahmed pulls guard effortlessly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ahmed manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
