And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Josh Watson!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Phil Schofield and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watson throws a right hand that Walker ducks under and follows up with a left that Walker also avoids with ease.
Walker lands a right hook to the body.
Watson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Walker but Walker pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Walker shoots in looking for a takedown but Watson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Walker's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Watson throws a right and a left that Walker avoids nicely.
Walker keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Watson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Walker moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Walker is looking to chop away at Watson's legs.

No joy there for Watson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Watson is trying desperately to land a takedown but Walker is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Watson.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Walker is defended easily by Watson.

Watson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Watson showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Walker is looking to wear down Watson with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Walker fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Watson avoids it really well and circles away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Walker leaves Watson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Josh Watson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Watson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Walker to the mat! Walker manages to get full guard.

Walker scrambles and gets back to his feet.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Walker lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Watson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Watson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Watson wants to stand and escape but instead Walker has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Walker wants to get up but he can't break Watson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Walker has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Watson is proving hard to escape from.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Walker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Watson looking for a guillotine here but Walker defends easily.
Walker postures up in Watson's guard and throws a big left but Watson blocks it.
Walker is looking to work some ground and pound but Watson has wrist control.

Watson is pulling down on Walker's head. It's preventing any offense from Walker, at least for the moment.

Watson controls Walker momentarily but Walker frees himself.
Walker won't allow Watson to get back to his feet.

Watson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Watson shoots in for a takedown but Walker shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Watson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Walker.

and Watson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Walker wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Watson fails to land with a series of punches.
Walker moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Walker tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Watson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Watson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Josh Watson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Walker shoots in for a double leg but Watson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

I would just about give that final round to Josh Watson.
I think Watson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
