Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jim Lahey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lahey's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Liquor & Whores. Vitor Belfort will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Lahey as Belfort shoots in.
Belfort fails with the takedown.
Belfort closes the distance and clinches up with Lahey, looking for a takedown. Belfort pushes Lahey against the cage but Lahey circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jim Lahey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vitor Belfort.
Lahey keeps the fight on the outside.
A head kick misses from Belfort.
Belfort shoots for a takedown but Lahey saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Lahey, right into the meat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

It looks like Vitor Belfort has been cut.
Lahey connects with a nasty looking knee right to Belfort's face.
Belfort looks gassed!
Lahey has cage pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Belfort is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a bit one sneaks through from Lahey - that's hurt Belfort badly! Oh, another knee lands and Belfort is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Belfort doesn't seem to be complaining.
