Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Kozlov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colin Booth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kozlov comes into the arena with wild boys blaring out of the sound system. Colin Booth has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Kozlov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Colin Booth! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kozlov takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Booth looks to land a combination but Kozlov avoids it well. Booth swings for the body but Kozlov moves out of range.
Kozlov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Booth. Booth ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kozlov moves away. Booth lands a lovely overhand right. Kozlov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Booth manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Kozlov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kozlov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Booth tries to avoid it but Kozlov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Booth to the ground. Booth escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Booth throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kozlov. Kozlov slips under a jab from Booth. Booth just misses with a punch to the body.
Booth throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Booth throws a head kick but Kozlov moves out of range.
Booth throws a hook but Kozlov avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kozlov shoots for a takedown but Booth saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Booth swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Booth connects with a body shot. Kozlov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Booth but Booth pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Kozlov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Booth cracks Kozlov with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Kozlov tries to clinch up but Booth circles away and keeps his distance. Colin Booth is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Booth avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kozlov throws a head kick that misses. Kozlov gets in close and instigates a clinch. Booth looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Kozlov can't get the takedown.
Booth is fighting off a takedown attempt but Kozlov is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Booth to the mat. Booth regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Kozlov has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Kozlov is sitting in close to Booth's body. Booth has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Kozlov is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Kozlov is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Booth.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Colin Booth! A relieved looking Colin Booth thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
