Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tixarian Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teste Torneio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Teste Torneio told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tixarian Pain!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Teste Torneio!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pain throws a series of punches but Torneio moves out of range.
Pain throws a right hand that Torneio ducks under and follows up with a left that Torneio also avoids with ease.
Torneio fails in his attempt to clinch.
Torneio is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Pain misses with a combination
and Torneio makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Torneio doesn't manage to clinch there - Pain circles away.
Pain slips under a jab.
Pain connects with a high kick.
Tixarian Pain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A combination from Pain does no damage.
Torneio showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Pain.
Pain swats away the attempt to clinch by Torneio.
Pain throws a nice looking combination but Torneio bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Pain looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Pain throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Torneio.
Torneio fails with a takedown attempt.
Torneio thows a body shot but no joy.
Torneio ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pain misses with a few strikes there.
Torneio misses with a wild body shot.
Torneio fails with the takedown.

Torneio shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Torneio was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Torneio wants to stand but Pain is controlling his arm.
Pain manages to get back to half guard.

Pain actively working from the bottom here.
Torneio really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pain. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Pain gets back to full guard.
Pain not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Torneio is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Pain has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Torneio is looking to defend but Pain has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Torneio! Pain pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Torneio taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Tixarian Pain!
Tixarian Pain retains his bantamweight title!
A relieved looking Tixarian Pain thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
