Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Owen Wash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Joshua Estrada! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Estrada tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Wash doesn't manage to clinch there - Estrada circles away.
Wash closes the distance looking to clinch and Estrada holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Wash prevents the takedown attempt.

Wash looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Estrada tries for a kimura but Wash is defending well. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Estrada is looking to take a break and control but Wash is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wash knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Estrada on the ground. Estrada sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wash is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Estrada locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Wash is forced to tap!
