The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decry lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Decry throws a nice looking combination but Down bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Down looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Down keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Decry.
Down gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
The fighters circling - Decry throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Decry just misses with a punch to the body.
Decry cracks Down with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Down takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Decry throws a right and a left that Down avoids nicely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Down takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Down shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Decry defends it nicely.

Decry tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Decry has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Decry wants to lay and pray for a moment but Down keeps working.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Decry bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Decry throws a hook to the side of Down's head but Down sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Down shoots in for a takedown but Decry shows good takedown defense.
Decry has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Decry slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Decry Throws a clean left jab. Decry Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Down's chin! Down crumbles to the ground and Decry follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Decry!
