Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Patch Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitchell Pearsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mitchell Pearsen will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas blocks a jab.
Thomas throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Pearsen was covering up waiting for the punch and Thomas finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Pearsen is looking to stand up but Thomas isn't so interested in that idea.
