Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Drew Wilkinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pawel Rak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Pawel Rak!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rak moves in looking to clinch but Wilkinson pushes him off.

Wilkinson closes the distance and pushes Rak back into the cage.
Rak is trying to drag Wilkinson to the mat but Wilkinson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Rak is trying to pull guard but Wilkinson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Wilkinson tries to pull guard but Rak holds him up against the cage and eventually Wilkinson drops back down to his feet.

Wilkinson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Rak connects with an inside leg kick.
Rak shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wilkinson sprawls well. Wilkinson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rak gets slowly back to his feet.
Drew Wilkinson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pawel Rak.

Wilkinson drives through with a takedown into guard.

Rak looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Rak stalks Wilkinson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Wilkinson's face. Wilkinson staggers backwards, shaken.


It looks like Drew Wilkinson has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wilkinson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Rak looks like he's trying to stand up.
Wilkinson is thwarting Rak's attempts to control the position.
Rak is trying to get back to full guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Wilkinson in particular looking to stall.

Wilkinson decides to return to a standing position.

Rak is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wilkinson defends well.
Rak is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Rak wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Wilkinson darts in and clinches Rak up against the cage.
Wilkinson is trying to break the clinch but Rak is controlling him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A frustrated look appears on Rak's face as he tries to break the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Rak pulls guard effortlessly.
Wilkinson won't allow Rak to get back to his feet.
Wilkinson sitting in guard, not really doing much.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rak closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Wilkinson quickly recovers to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rak wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wilkinson keeps working.

Rak wants to stand up but Wilkinson has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Wilkinson tries to kick Rak off but Rak keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Wilkinson wants to control but Rak is keeping busy.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Rak has his takedown stuffed
and Wilkinson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Rak changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Wilkinson fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Wilkinson wants the takedown. Rak is fighting it off but Wilkinson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Rak's guard against the cage.

That was a close second round but I would say that Drew Wilkinson will probably get the nod.

Rak pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A decent looking cross lands there for Rak.
Rak moves out of range as Wilkinson throws a body kick.
Drew Wilkinson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Rak moves in looking to clinch but Wilkinson pushes him off.

Wilkinson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Rak!

Rak is looking to improve his position but Wilkinson isn't that keen on the idea.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Wilkinson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Wilkinson prevents Rak from getting the reversal.

Rak flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

Wilkinson wants to control but Rak is keeping him busy.
Wilkinson landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Rak tries to get to full guard but Wilkinson has control of the leg.

Wilkinson wants to free his trapped foot but Rak is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Rak has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wilkinson is working away from the top position though.
Wilkinson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rak's head.
Wilkinson is looking to take a break and control but Rak is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Drew Wilkinson just wasn't active enough.
Wilkinson keeps the fight on the outside.
Wilkinson's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Wilkinson duly obliges.
Rak fails to land the takedown.

Rak shoots in looking for a takedown but Wilkinson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rak's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Rak tries to clinch up but Wilkinson circles away and keeps his distance.
Wilkinson moves out of range as Rak throws a body kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wilkinson wants to land a leg kick but Rak is out of range.

Rak has Wilkinson up against the cage in a clinch.
Wilkinson throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Wilkinson just leaning against Rak, taking a breather.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rak tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Drew Wilkinson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pawel Rak.
Wilkinson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Pawel Rak has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Drew Wilkinson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
