Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kirk Lazarus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yannick Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kirk Lazarus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kirk Lazarus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yannick Ali!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Ali or perhaps it was just good defense by Lazarus which made him look bad.
Lazarus walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
It looks like Kirk Lazarus has been cut.
Lazarus moves out of range of the body kick.
Lazarus gets caught flat footed, as Ali shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Ali controlling from the top position.
Lazarus wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Ali gets to his feet. Lazarus looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Lazarus gets tackled into the cage by Ali. Ali maintains the clinch.
Lazarus jumps guard and drags Ali to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Lazarus is looking to stand up but Ali isn't so interested in that idea.
Lazarus knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ali on the ground.

Lazarus will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Ali slips nicely into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lazarus on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Ali decides to return to a standing position.
Ali moves into range and clinches up with Lazarus.

Ali jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lazarus walks away with a smile on his face. Ali gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Ali has closed the distance and engaged Lazarus in a clinch.
Ali tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lazarus smiles and moves away.

Ali rushes Lazarus and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Ali swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lazarus tries to clinch but Ali is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Kirk Lazarus's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Lazarus counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ali's knee momentarily.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Ali. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Ali is standing up over Lazarus. Lazarus looks to escape but Ali dives into side control.

Ali swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Lazarus is now in Ali's guard. A big mistake from Ali there, giving up the dominant position!
Ali scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Ali fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lazarus, pushing him back against the cage.
Ali wants a takedown but no success here.
Ali is trying to break the clinch but Lazarus has him pressed against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lazarus wants to stand up but Ali is controlling him.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Ali shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lazarus pinned against the cage. Lazarus gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lazarus tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Ali will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Ali shoots for a double leg takedown but Lazarus sprawls well. He's pushed Ali's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Lazarus is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Ali tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lazarus swivels and escapes.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Lazarus takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Ali wants to control from the top but Lazarus keeps moving.

Lazarus is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Yannick Ali hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Ali closes the distance and pushes Lazarus back into the cage.
Ali is working for takedown but Lazarus is calmly controlling the position for now.
Lazarus decides to pull guard.

Lazarus is working an open guard so Ali takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

and Lazarus counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Lazarus.
Lazarus has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ali after a bit of a struggle.
Ali wants to break free but Lazarus has control.

Ali tries to land knees in the clinch but Lazarus avoids the damage to the body.
Lazarus connects with a nasty looking knee right to Ali's face.

Ali is trying to push Lazarus away but Lazarus has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Lazarus drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lazarus goes for a takedown attempt but Ali pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Yannick Ali seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Lazarus slaps away a takedown attempt from Ali, before circling back to the center of the mat.
And that's the end of the fight!
Yannick Ali comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Ali has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
