Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vince Kershaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benjo Alejandro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vince Kershaw! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Benjo Alejandro! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alejandro throws a right and a left that both miss. Kershaw steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Alejandro. Kershaw misses with a looping left. Kershaw misses with a few strikes there.
Kershaw throws out a powerful jab. Alejandro cracks Kershaw with a good jab. Kershaw connects with a jab. Kershaw moves out of range of the strikes. Alejandro waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kershaw. Kershaw scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Alejandro is looking to regain half guard here but Kershaw keeps moving and retains side control. Kershaw looks up at the clock and then as Alejandro takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kershaw smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Alejandro wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land. Kershaw trying to control the action but Alejandro is working from the bottom. Kershaw throws an elbow but Alejandro slips to the side and avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alejandro on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Alejandro is looking for a sweep. Alejandro really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kershaw. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Alejandro tries to escape but Kershaw is in control. Alejandro sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Kershaw wants to lay and pray for a moment but Alejandro keeps working. Alejandro is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Alejandro is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Kershaw seems to be working for a kimura but Alejandro defends the submission attempt. Kershaw lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kershaw is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Kershaw sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Alejandro defending well though. Kershaw is looking to take a break and control but Alejandro is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Kershaw gets back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kershaw is looking to control Alejandro's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kershaw avoid being mounted? Alejandro is nestled in close to Kershaw, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Kershaw looking for submissions off his back. Kershaw is refusing to be controlled, as Alejandro sits in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kershaw is trying to maintain the position but Alejandro is very close to passing his half guard. Kershaw gets full guard. Alejandro working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kershaw's head. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Alejandro trying to control but Kershaw is working from the bottom. Alejandro stands up over Kershaw, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Kershaw throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! That was a close round but I would say that Vince Kershaw will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Kershaw lunges at Alejandro with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Alejandro's hand. Kershaw staying out of range there. Kershaw misses with a jab, cross combination.
A big right from Alejandro misses. Kershaw looks to land a left hand but Alejandro moved out of range nicely. Alejandro misses with an uppercut. Kershaw saw that one coming. Kershaw avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Kershaw fails with a takedown attempt. A swing and a miss from Alejandro. Alejandro takes a jab right on the kisser.

Alejandro looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Kershaw! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Alejandro is chipping away with strikes.

That's one minute gone in the round. Alejandro scores with a couple of short elbows. Alejandro works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Kershaw is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Alejandro lands with a punch from half guard. Kershaw moves into full guard.
Alejandro connects with a couple of short punches. Kershaw not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kershaw is on top in guard.
Kershaw throwing strikes but missing. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Alejandro can do anything to dispel that myth. Alejandro manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kershaw manages to get himself to full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kershaw looking to control.

Kershaw has his foot on Alejandro's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Alejandro works his way back into a safe position though. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Alejandro stands and throws Kershaw's legs to the side, diving into side control. Alejandro works to advance to full mount. Kershaw defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Alejandro landing shots from mount. Benjo Alejandro has got the better of the ground game so far. Alejandro scores with a couple of good head shots there.
BOOM! Alejandro connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Kershaw is desperately trying to improve his position but Alejandro has a good base and remains in mount. Alejandro breaks from Kershaw's wrist control and lands an elbow. Kershaw is wriggling around trying to escape.
Alejandro pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Alejandro blocks Kershaw's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Alejandro lands a big elbow. Kershaw is desperately trying to improve his position but Alejandro has a good base and remains in mount. Alejandro connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alejandro lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Kershaw takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Kershaw is in all sorts of trouble here.
Alejandro with the ground and pound from mount. Alejandro is landing with some decent strikes but Kershaw is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Kershaw is rocked! Alejandro postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Kershaw in real trouble here! The ref calls for Kershaw to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
