Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stefan Pruvhe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Remnant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Stefan Pruvhe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chris Remnant!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pruvhe with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Remnant misses with a looping right.
Pruvhe lands a right hook to the body.
Remnant throws a combination that misses
and Pruvhe counters with a nice body shot.
Pruvhe will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Pruvhe throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Remnant has his takedown stuffed

and Pruvhe counters with a shoot takedown. Remnant fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Pruvhe throws an elbow that misses. Remnant uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Pruvhe's guard. Nice move by Remnant!
Remnant stands and throws Pruvhe's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Remnant is putting a hurting on Pruvhe here, landing some big shots from side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Remnant lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Pruvhe wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Pruvhe tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Remnant wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Remnant working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Remnant scores with a couple of short elbows.

Pruvhe is looking to reverse the position.
Pruvhe can't do much from the bottom here.
Pruvhe manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Pruvhe wants to improve his position but Remnant is controlling well.
Remnant lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Remnant seems to be looking for submissions.
Remnant passes the guard and advances to mount!
Remnant has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Pruvhe is working to get back to half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Remnant lands a nice shot to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Remnant pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Remnant looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Remnant jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Pruvhe manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Remnant is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pruvhe is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Remnant tries for a kimura but Pruvhe is defending well.

Remnant has an Americana. Pruvhe didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Remnant is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Remnant hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
