Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rei Akuma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexandre Ferreira Da Serra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Rei Akuma has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rei Akuma seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Serra connects with a right hand. Akuma shakes it off.
Akuma throws a predictable looking body shot
and Da Serra counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Akuma misses with a shot to the body
and Da Serra counters with a nice double leg into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Da Serra is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Da Serra trying to control the position from guard on top but Akuma is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Da Serra thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Da Serra drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Da Serra jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Da Serra stays in close to Akuma's body and controls the position.
Akuma keeping moving, preventing Da Serra from controlling successfully.
Akuma knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Da Serra on the ground.
Da Serra not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Da Serra's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Alexandre Ferreira Da Serra.
Akuma throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Akuma ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Da Serra moves away.
Akuma looking to score a takedown here. Da Serra is defending well but Akuma drives through and ends up in Da Serra's guard.

Da Serra working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Akuma doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Da Serra is tightening it up a little... Akuma has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Akuma reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Akuma taps out! Nice BJJ there by Da Serra!
