Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bittor Xavier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Edgar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xavier comes to the cage accompanied by Jane's Addiction- Mountain Song. Edgar is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Eminem - Go To Sleep. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xavier throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Xavier wants to take a breather but Edgar is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Xavier is looking for a kimura but Edgar is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Xavier to get the leverage.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Xavier drops back, looking for a kneebar! Edgar looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Edgar looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Edgar!
Edgar misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Xavier is looking to regain half guard here but Edgar keeps moving and retains side control.

Xavier is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

and Xavier counters with a nice double leg into side control. Edgar won't be happy with that.

Xavier has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Edgar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Edgar rolls with it to try and escape but Xavier cranks on the arm and Edgar is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
