Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anabol Asteroid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalle Reinikainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Asteroid comes to the cage accompanied by Asteroid. Reinikainen is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Turmion Kätilöt - Verta ja Lihaa (Proteus Mental remix). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asteroid swings for the body but Reinikainen moves out of range.
Reinikainen ducks under a wild hook from Asteroid.
Reinikainen tries a head kick but it misses.
Asteroid scores with a sloppy right hand. Reinikainen should have avoided that one.
Asteroid throws out a loose jab but Reinikainen uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Reinikainen counters with a slapping leg kick.

Reinikainen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Asteroid can pounce on him.

and Reinikainen counters with a head kick that drops Asteroid to the mat! Asteroid scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Asteroid walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Reinikainen checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Asteroid misses with a lunging right hand
and Reinikainen counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Asteroid loads up on a big right hand but Reinikainen slips the punch.
Asteroid throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Reinikainen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Asteroid throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Reinikainen.
Asteroid swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Asteroid misses with a low kick.
Reinikainen fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Asteroid throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Reinikainen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Reinikainen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Asteroid at a distance.

Asteroid throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Reinikainen on the side of the head.
Reinikainen on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Reinikainen rushes Asteroid and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Asteroid pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Asteroid jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Asteroid ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Reinikainen moves away.

and Reinikainen counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Asteroid is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Asteroid lands with a hook. Reinikainen tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Asteroid's corner calls for a 1-2. Asteroid obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Asteroid feints with a jab and clips Reinikainen right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Reinikainen is sent crashing into the canvas and Asteroid leaps in for the kill! Reinikainen tries to get to his feet but Asteroid is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Reinikainen is in need of a savior and steps in!
