Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vadim Kharghai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chicken Beef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Vadim Kharghai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chicken Beef!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kharghai doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Beef counters with an outside leg kick.
Beef circles away from the clinch attempt.

Kharghai looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Beef keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Beef is staying active underneath Kharghai, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Beef has closed the distance and engaged Kharghai in a clinch.

Beef throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kharghais head.
Kharghai is trying to drag Beef to the mat but Beef just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kharghai crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Beef - the referee stops the clock and Kharghai gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Beef. Kharghai manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Kharghai throws a head kick that misses.
Kharghai dives in and grabs Beef's left leg, looking for a takedown. Beef pushes down on Kharghai's head and hops out.
Horrible takedown by Kharghai or perhaps it was just good defense by Beef which made him look bad.

Beef is looking to stand up but Kharghai won't let him.

Chicken Beef showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Kharghai is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Beef to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

Beef is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kharghai is controlling him.

Beef escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kharghai gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Beef wants to sweep here but Kharghai controlling him for the moment.

Kharghai is looking to work some ground and pound but Beef has wrist control.
Kharghai won't allow Beef to sweep him here.

Beef lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kharghai!

I would just about give that final round to Chicken Beef.
I think Beef has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
