Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patches Meech (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Brogue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meech comes to the cage accompanied by shear it maybe. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brogue on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Meech throws a series of strikes that have Brogue backpedaling.

It looks like Jimmy Brogue has been cut.
Brogue fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Meech blocks a head kick by Brogue.
Brogue tries to close the distance and clinch up but Meech swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Meech looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Meech throws a right hand that Brogue ducks under and follows up with a left that Brogue also avoids with ease.
Meech takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brogue takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Brogue is looking to clinch.
Meech throws a nice looking combination but Brogue bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A head kick from Brogue lands but Meech takes it in his stride.
Brogue looks winded!
Meech leaves Brogue with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Brogue throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Brogue takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Brogue showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Meech.
Meech tries to bum rush Brogue with a series of wild strikes but Brogue uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Meech misses with a two punch combination.

Meech moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Patches Meech is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Meech swats away the attempt to clinch by Brogue.

Meech throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Brogue misses with a two punch combination.
Meech cracks Brogue with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Brogue tries to clinch but Meech is having none of it.
Brogue shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Meech as he avoids it easily.
Patches Meech has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Brogue.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Brogue lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Meech has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Meech and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Brogue ducks right into an uppercut from Meech.

That has opened up Jimmy Brogue's cut even more.

Meech drops Brogue with a beautiful combination! Brogue stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Meech is looking for the KO!

Brogue is rocked!
Brogue changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Meech tries to avoid it but Brogue manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Meech to the ground. Meech escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Brogue is still on wobbly legs! Can Meech finish him?
Meech swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Meech darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Meech lands a jab-cross combination.
Meech looks to land a combination but Brogue avoids it well.
Brogue fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Patches Meech decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
