Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Or Yeger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Bridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yeger's entrance music is Amazing. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Or Yeger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Bridge!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yeger looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Horrible takedown by Yeger or perhaps it was just good defense by Bridge which made him look bad.
Yeger fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Or Yeger. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Yeger shoots in for a takedown but Bridge shows good takedown defense.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Yeger.
Bridge prevents the takedown attempt.

Yeger has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Bridge is trying to keep an underhook but Yeger manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Yeger wants to pass the guard but Bridge is defending well.

Bridge looking for submissions off his back.
Bridge tries to get to full guard but Yeger has control of the leg.
Yeger wants to pass to mount but Bridge is defending the position.
Bridge wants to improve his position but Yeger is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Yeger clinches up with Bridge and pushes him back against the cage.
Yeger tries for a takedown but Bridge manages to get underhooks.

Bridge is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Yeger pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Yeger drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Yeger tries to score a body lock takedown but Bridge shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Bridge gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Yeger.
Yeger is breathing heavily.
Yeger goes for a takedown attempt but Bridge pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Yeger shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bridge pinned against the cage. Bridge gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Bridge gets caught flat footed, as Yeger shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Or Yeger will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Yeger closes the distance and clinches up with Bridge, looking for a takedown. Yeger pushes Bridge against the cage but Bridge circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Yeger looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bridge is fending him off so far but Yeger persists. Nope, Bridge circles away and we're back to standing.

Or Yeger is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Yeger changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bridge tries to avoid it but Yeger manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bridge to the ground. Bridge escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Yeger tries to clinch but Bridge is having none of it.
Yeger tries to clinch up.
Yeger shoots in but Bridge avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Yeger shoots in for a takedown but Bridge shows good takedown defense.

Yeger shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bridge but Bridge pushes him off and we're back to square one.

John Bridge showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Yeger pushes down on Bridge's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Bridge gets back to full guard.
Yeger will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Yeger works over Bridge with some ground and pound from guard.
Yeger passes Bridge's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Bridge looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Yeger is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Yeger has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Bridge defend it? Yeger steps over the head and cranks it - Bridge is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Yeger!
