Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes into the arena with Tupac -Ambitionz Az A Ridah blaring out of the sound system. Gracie has chosen Streight Up Menace as his entrance music. Dennis Gracie acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gary Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dennis Gracie! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva wants to clinch up but Gracie keeps it at a distance. Gracie closes the distance and clinches. Silva throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Gracie blocks it with crossed arms. Silva misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Gracie.
Silva is looking to control Gracie's arms but Gracie gets an underhook and turns him. Now Silva has his back to the cage. Gracie tries for a takedown. No joy.
Silva tries a knee to the head but Gracie blocks it.
Silva stalling in the clinch but Gracie improves position. Silva using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Gracie has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Gracie takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like Dennis Gracie has been cut. Gracie wants a takedown.
Gracie looking for a takedown. Gary Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dennis Gracie. Gracie's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Gracie can't get the takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Silva tries a knee to the head but Gracie blocks it.

Gracie has clasped his hands together around Silva's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Silva is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Gracie has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Silva is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Gracie is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Gracie trying to control but Silva is having none of it. The referee warns Silva that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Gracie lands a heavy elbow. Silva is breathing heavily. Gracie lands a big shot there that rocks Silva but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Gracie content just to control the position here. Gracie pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie controlling his opponent. Gracie has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Silva's face.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie landing strikes, looking to finish! Silva is in a horrible position here. Gracie smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
BOOM! Gracie connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gracie working Silva over with strikes here. Gracie landing strikes from the mount and Silva is in trouble! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dennis Gracie dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dennis Gracie's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Gracie shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gracie showed some decent athleticism there. Gracie working over Silva with some ground and pound. Silva looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Gracie lands strikes from half guard. Gracie slips a nice elbow through Silva's hands, connecting with Silva's forehead. Silva is not content to let Gracie control the position. Gracie uses his free foot to push down on Silva's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Silva. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva is looking to get to half guard. Silva regains half guard. Silva is staying active underneath Gracie, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Gracie in particular looking to stall. Gracie escapes and gets back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silva is fending him off so far but Gracie persists. Nope, Silva circles away and we're back to standing. Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Silva shows good takedown defense. The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Silva closes the distance looking to clinch and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Gracie is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Gracie unloading with bombs! Silva regains half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Silva is trying to stand back up but Gracie is controlling him

Silva gets full guard. Silva looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Silva is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Silva wants to get back to his feet but Gracie is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Silva keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Silva wants to sweep but no luck. Gracie lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Silva looking to sweep here. No luck so far. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gracie accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Gracie lands a couple of decent looking shots. Gracie lands a couple of decent looking shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dennis Gracie showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Dennis Gracie's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Silva keeps working. Gracie in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Gracie advances nicely into full mount. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Gracie looking to finish Silva with some ground and pound. This is bad for Silva! Dennis Gracie has got the better of the ground game so far. Gracie lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Gracie has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Silva is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gracie is controlling him. Gracie avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
