Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Basheer darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Basheer is looking to take a break and control but McDonald is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Basheer has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, McDonald has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Basheer fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging McDonald to the ground. Basheer is now in McDonald's guard.
Basheer drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Basheer jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Basheer wants to control from the top but McDonald keeps moving.
McDonald is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Basheer is controlling him.
Basheer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McDonald swivels though and keeps the full guard.
McDonald takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Basheer drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and McDonald dives on top into guard.
Basheer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
McDonald wants to stand and escape but instead Basheer has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Basheer advances position into side control!
Basheer is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but McDonald is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
McDonald is not content to let Basheer control the position.
McDonald is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Basheer asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Basheer looks up at the clock and then as McDonald takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Basheer smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Basheer wants to take a breather but McDonald is having none of it.
